Sales Development Program

No sales or insurance experience needed! The 50/50 Program is designed to bring people with no sales or insurance experience into the insurance industry. By following a custom training and development plan and working closely with a dedicated sales manager who will teach you the insurance industry, you’ll be positioned as a premiere salesperson.

What we expect of you if you are called for an intervew:

We want to make sure life insurance and short and long-term disability options are available to you so you can make the right choices for you and your family.

  • Life insurance with a $50,000 benefit by UNUM
  • Voluntary life insurance options include term life, whole life and universal life insurance policies
  • Short-term disability with 14-day elimination period, covers 60 percent of weekly earnings up to $1,000 per week; max of 24 weeks
  • Long-term disability with 60 percent of monthly salary up to $20,000 per month (tax-free) after 24 weeks 
Financial and Retirement

Being able to have the time off you need every year is important when considering any job. Having the opportunity to put away money and save for your future is also critical for most of our applicants. We want to assure you that we keep our people at the forefront of what we do by making a 401(k) plan available as well providing enough paid time off throughout the year.

  • 401(k) plan with optional immediate participation
  • Discretionary performance bonus - all people considered for a cash bonus each year 
  • Two personal days per calendar year  
  • Six Sick days per year; accumulate up to a maximum of 18 available in a given year  
  • Minimum of two weeks’ vacation per year (up to four weeks after 15+ years)  
Development
  • Personal development courses offered on premises by People’s College at no cost to you; 300+ courses per year 
  • Tuition Reimbursement up to $1,500 per year for approved undergraduate or graduate degree programs
  • Insurance, claims and technology self-study programs paid at 100 percent for study materials, half-day study time, exams, plus additional monetary incentives up to $33,000 per person for completing insurance, claims and technology designations and certifications 
  • Internal job posting program provides people the opportunity to post for available positions based on qualifications 
Guard and Reserve

Your job is protected!

  • Time off to fulfill annual active duty requirements

If full-time activated or deployed:

  • Financial stipend of $3,000/month
  • Option to continue paid medical benefits for family
  • Position held as required by USERRA
